One more time Hasina proved that she is not a L...........

Recently I asked a question in www.facebook.com .  The question was:   What is Hasina ? 1. Leader 2. Manager 3. Boss..

Though very few people  answered that question  but none voted Hasina  as leader. Most of the people  voted her as Manager and few as Boss.

From her  recent article ভালোর পসরা in www.bdnews24.com , it is  clear one more time that Hasina is not a leader.  If  She were leader, she would not be angry to those who expect better performance from her and her government.  Because leaders always strive for better performance. They not only  strive  for better performance themselves but also inspire followers for better  performance.  If  we look at the accomplishment of four different catagoris of people  by one leadership expert, John C. Maxell  in his Book "Developing the leader within you", we see

"Knowing how to do a job is the accomplishment of Labor.
Showing others is the accomplishment of a teacher.
Making sure the work is done by others is the accomplishment of a Manager.
Inspiring others to do better work is the accomplishment of a Leader."

Now if  we look at the performance of    present government of Hasina, is it crime to  say that  you have to do much more?   The performance of the present  goverment is  below pass mark, much below the pass mark. Hence the government  is not daring to go to poll  for Dhaka City corporation. Well wisher of the  government warning  the govt.

Kader Siddiqi has challenged  the govt if they could win in a free and fair election he would wear sharee.

Anwar Hossain Manju, among many people, declared that   if any election occurs now, then  the boat would capsize.

However,  we got to understand that  being in leadership position  doesn't make someone leader.

Being leader and  being in leadership position are two different things .

The more people  and the sooner we understand this , the better it is  for us, Bangladeshi .
